Before you watch his videos, read the comments on some of his videos. Where else are you going to find comments from dog owners that have had complete behavioural success – and didn’t need a dog trainer to do it?
Mark is pushing relationship first – then train whatever you want. That’s common sense. People are trying to train their dogs – and you never even got to know your dog.
What is a relationship? Mans best friend? Is your dog your best friend? If your dog is running away from you – ever stop to think that they don’t want to be with you? They don’t want to be your friend? But dog trainers are telling you to teach recall – with punishment?
Think about this – if I treated my best friends the way dog trainers tell you to treat your dog? Nobody would want to be my friend – nobody would want to be around me.
Do you think you can punish your dog into a relationship? If you’re having behavioural issues – then that’s what you’re doing.
