And I’ve watched closely and carefully as IGP slowly turned the treats, the tools, the muzzles, the crates etc from tools of last resort – into an insurance policy. Pet Dog Trainers are now pushing treats – always leave the treat bag on your side. Balanced and IGP – always leave the tool on.
15 years ago, crates and muzzles were almost unheard of in the behavior ring – but 15 years on – it’s expected. It’s now demanded that you lock your dog in a crate. Now we have the “Muzzle up project” – that every dog needs a muzzle.
