AMAZED!!! After more then 1 year of 4 dogs that alowed no one ouside family near our yard. i spoke to 5 different dog trainers and tried 1 boarding kennel. only got worse. Then i found Robert Hynes on facebook. l spoke with him for a few minutes and l knew right away he knew what my dogs needed. He came to see the dogs in person. he said to let the dogs out in the yard one at a time so he could come in and assess them. l simply said ok but your crazy and not going to get in. l was wrong!!! Robert came to the gate and each dog showed they wanted a piece of him. within a couple minutes, he was in the yard talking calm and not showing that he was scared. there was a lot of barking but within 1/2 hr he was petting the dog. he done the same with each one. the dog that i thought would bite him the quickest was wanting affection from him to the point he was playing with her toung. On the 3rd visit. we met at the dog park. my dog was never at a dog park before. he walked her about 100′ and there was a couple walking with 2 other dogs. i couldnt believe my eyes when he went straight to them and my dog let them both pet her. Robert with his calm demeanor has turned my otherwise attack dog into a calm freindly and lovable dog outside of family members and outside our yard. anyone that is thinking they have a dog thats needing training or not trainable hasnt met robert. l would recommend robert to anyone and everyone and i have already. a simple assessment is the fist step to real success. he not only allows the dog to be on its own terms. he helps the owner understand too. just let the dog be a dog. no treats or tricks. just calm words and affection when the dog is ready. im amazed at how quick the dogs were ready. Robert has a very different approach then other dog trainers. not only dog owners but dog trainers too should take notice. Dogs seeming to be aggressive, are not. a little time with calm words and affection makes dogs calm and affectionate.
